I'm excited my aunt and uncle are leaving. I'm pretty sure I'm not doing New Year's now, but like the day before or after, so people can come and not abandon other parties or whatever.

All I've eaten is a bagel today, and I'm boycotting the shit we have because my parents haven't been grocery shopping since before Thanksgiving, and my mom is at some dinner party, and my dad refuses to go get dinner/go to the grocery store/fix us dinner. As always. I'm so fucking hungry, but I'm so fucking sick of pasta and sandwiches.

UNC Asheville

American University

But, I'm probably not going to either of the DC ones, but they're kinda like a pipe dream deal (also, applying to American U is free). UNC Asheville sounds wonderful on paper, but I want to visit it. Clemson is out in the middle of nowhere, and frankly, everyone seems slightly batshit insane, so I'm not sure. I liked the college-towny atmosphere, but, it might be too much for me. Also, 2 showers for 12 girls, which is really just cruel, and I want suite style dorms for real. Charleston I liked lots, but I'm afraid is too "cool" for me, and also the city has the potential to be overwhelming to me. USC Columbia, I have no idea about, but I suppose I'll learn more when I tour it.

Um, I'm super-annoying to watch to the Emmy's with, because I've basically seen every show nominated (okay, not really) and get really angry when Tony Bennett wins like 3 things over Stephen and Jon (srsly, wtf?), and someone from Boston Legal wins over Hugh Laurie, and 30 Rock wins over the Office (and okay, 30 Rock is really funny, but The Office is better, sorry).

Also: Jon and Stephen giving Ricky Gervias' award to Steve Carrell was the best part of the night. Also, when Rainn Wilson and Kanye had their singing competition (LET'S GET LOST TONIGHT, YOU CAN BE MY BLACK KATE MOSS TONIGHT)

And since I'm not obnoxious about my TV watching like I used to be (nor do I watch as much), I'm gonna say this once and then leave it alone: everybody should watch Pushing Daisies, because the pilot episode was adorable and quirky and funny and it looks like it will be a good show.
